Do you advocate on behalf of clients at tribunals and the Courts?

No. Professional Planners adhere to a code of ethics, we have an over-riding duty to provide impartial, independent opinions to assist the decision makers in making their decisions. 

Do you make arguments on behalf of clients at quasi-judicial and judicial hearings?

No. We provide opinions: the evidence of expert witnesses must be impartial and we owe a duty to the court to give fair, objective and non-partisan opinion evidence. 

Have you ever been cross-examined?

Yes. Multiple days and by multiple lawyers. 

Are you an Appraiser?

No. We work with Appraisers to establish the highest and best use of lands that have been taken / expropriated.
